Big Changes for 2007
Home Opener Game: Beginning in
2007, the Home Opener game will be the large event of the year. We will
be working closely with the OMB
staff to fill the stands with high-quality sound and a uniform appearance.
Our uniform for the day (which may consist of a t-shirt, windbreaker,
etc.) will be the same as the OMB wears that day so that we will give
the appearance of one unified group. We will perform with the band,
including a pre-game field performance, and as far as the crowd at Autzen
is concerned, they will think that we ARE the OMB.
Registration Fees and Signups: Also
in 2007, there will be one registration fee, and the sooner you register
the cheaper
it is. This is because the OMB wants to know as soon as possible how
big their band will be, how many uniforms they need to supply, etc.
Electronic Communication: To keep up with the latest
directives from the Athletic Department and the School of Music, we will
be using
e-mail
and this
website to
keep our members informed and up-to-date. (For those of you without
e-mail, we will still send out information via regular mail or telephone
to notify you of any last-minute changes.)
The Oregon Alumni Band Needs Your Membership: Please
