OAB Board Opportunities

Do you have a vision of where you would like this organization to be in the future?

Do you have skills (marketing, recruitment and outreach, communications, computer, organizational, etc.) that would benefit the Oregon Alumni Band?

Would you like to play a bigger role in the organization?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, we need you! The OAB Board is seeking new Directors. If you think you may be interested, keep reading. Board service is extremely rewarding and a lot of fun.

Directors are expected to:

• Attend quarterly meetings in the Willamette Valley
• Regularly attend OAB-sponsored events
• Be a member of at least one working committee on the Board

Please send a letter detailing your reasons, your qualifications, your future vision for the organization, and the strengths you believe you would bring to the Board.

Board selection is not a blind process. Please follow the instructions below in order to be considered. (NOTE: You must be a member of the OAB, and your membership dues must be current in order to apply for Board service.)

• Envelopes must clearly be marked "Board Application"
• Your name must not appear on the outside of the envelope
• Complete contact information (name, phone, address, e-mail) must appear on your application letter)
